Recipients are recognized annually at PSX®

Outstanding Volunteerism Award

The Outstanding Volunteerism Award recognizes individuals who have contributed outstanding volunteer services towards the success of the Product Stewardship Society.

Nominees must be a member in good standing of the Product Stewardship Society, but not a current member of the Board of Directors. The Nominations are submitted to the Nomination Committee for review and Board Approval.

Distinguished Achievement Award

The Distinguished Achievement Award celebrates the exceptional contributions of individuals who have significantly advanced the product stewardship profession. Their work not only supports the mission of the Product Stewardship Society but also leaves a lasting impact on the next generation of product stewards. Through their achievements, they exemplify the highest standards of professional excellence.

Recipients of the award are selected based on their achievements in one of the following categories:

1. Exceptional service to the Product Stewardship Society.
2. Notable achievement in the field of product stewardship.
3. Significant contributions to the education, mentoring, or collaborations that advance the next generation of product stewards.

Nominees must be a member in good standing of the Product Stewardship Society, but not a current member of the Board of Directors. The Nominations are submitted to the Nomination Committee for review and Board Approval. This award may be given to one person per year but may not necessarily be awarded each year.

The Allan K. Fleeger Distinguished Service Award was retired in 2025 after many years of recognizing excellence.
